Fall is approaching, and the leaves are being to change. I can't wait for the weather to get crispy and the leaves to turn all these beautiful colors, its just breath taking. With this day in age I find that many people don't take time out of there day to go outside as they are working all day or are being distracted by the internet. I'm not saying that i'm not one of those people because I do binge watch Netflix every now and then. But taking the time out of your day and go walk around is a nice way to get fresh air and to think.
The weather where I live has been actually quite warm which is odd for us since it is the end of September. The other day I decided to go to the park and walk around, and soak up the last bit of the sunshine before it gets chilly. I couldn't help but take some pictures while walking around, it just shows how breath taking nature truly is, well it could be just me since I am a Geography major so I like rock formations.
Get out and enjoy the sun while you still can.
Hi, I love make-up, crafts and thought that I would share my love for these things along with some of my life experiences.

September Ipsy Bag
I love having monthly subscriptions because it is a little gift for yourself about once a month. This is only my second month having Ipsy and I love it. I was kind of skeptical because I was't a huge fan of my first bag, but I thought they are waiting for me to review the products and hopefully next months will be better. The months bag is way better and i'm thrilled with it. Ipsy is a monthly make-up subscription, that on average you receive at about the middle of the month. The price I believe is $10 or so a month but for Canadians I believe it is about $20 due to the conversion rate. The best thing with Ipsy is that you take a quiz and they pick which products are best for you, so if your friends have the subscription may not have the same products are yourself. With tipsy you have the option to peak at your bag once it is on its way to you, but I like to leave it as a surprise.
Here is the products I received this month:

I can't wait to see whats in my October Ipsy Bag.

No Way 24!
Its hard to believe how fast this year is going by, it literally feels like I just turned 23 the other day. I still can't wrap around my head that I'm now 24, its like I'm almost 25 its crazy. Like as a kid I always thought that at 24 I would be living on my own, have my own car, settling down and having a real job. But I am so far from that, I only just recently graduated from university and am looking for a job in my field. Over the next year hopefully things will work out and I will get a car and get ready to move out.
I celebrated my birthday by going out to breakfast with one of my friends and having a family supper. When I was talking to one of my friends on the phone we were talking about how different birthdays are since when we are kids. As a kid, everyone had a party where they would invite the entire class and it was normally a swimming, skating, movie or bowling party. With each year less and less kids got invited and you had small parties like sleepovers. I never made a big deal of birthdays and to be honest i'm not a huge fan of them. Since graduating high school for my birthday me and my family have supper together with my grandparents on my actual birthday. With my friends, we tend on doing separate things, we normally go out to supper, or a movie or just hang out when our schedules aline. Its just funny looking back and seeing how much stuff has changed over time.
I'm still not ready to accept being 24, this year I have grown up a ton and there has been ups and downs. The main thing is that I learned a lot and I can't wait to see what being 24 brings.

Autumn Makeup
I will admit I do own a nice bit of makeup and I find that in my collection I forget about products. So what I do is switch up my makeup on my dresser every now and then. The days are getting cooler, crispier, and shorter, so I thought it was a perfect time to switch up my makeup. I decided to haul out fall makeup, so normallyI go for fuller coverage with my makeup, with bronzier eyes and if i'm feeling real good a lip color.
I normally don't wear like colors but if i'm feeling adventurous that day ill add a bit of color. I normally go for colors that are very similar to my lip color or just a little darker like Revlon lip butter in 050 berry smoothie or Maybelline colorsensational lipstick in 045 pink me up. This year i'm going to attend a red lip and thats with the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 01, I really want to try the Zoella favourite 107.
Swatches: (Left to Right)

I'm all for drugstore foundation and i'm currently using the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation, as it is very hard to find a foundation pale enough for me and I find that you don't need a ton of the foundation either. I use the Nars concealer and blush in orgasm as they are both new products to me so i'm trying them out and so far i love them. Also the blush just screams fall to me I also recently got the NYX blush in taupe as a contour color.
For fall I add more color and spend more time on my eye makeup, as I like warm colors and break out the warmer browns and gold colors.

DIY Dip Nail Polish Remover
I love having painted nails, I don't really know why but I do. Its almost as if it just finishes off your outfit or makes you look more put together. But nothing can be more of a hassle when you try to take off you nail polish or even worse glitter nail polish as it has chipped over the week. The new craze is the dip nail polish remover, which is more expensive than nail polish remover but cuts your time in half removing it. I have found an EASY way that you can do it yourself with items you more than likely already own. It literally took 30 seconds to make.
What you need
♡ nail polish remover
♡ sponge
♡ jar with a sealable lid
What To Do
Roll your sponge and fit it into the jar. Depending on the size of the jar you might need more than one sponge or cut the sponge. You want to make sure that the sponge just fits in the jar (don't leave a ton of extra room).
Next pour in your nail polish remover, just enough for the sponges to soak up the remover. I used about a third of the bottle.
How it works

Current Favorites
Recently I have been reaching for the same products when getting ready in the morning, so I thought that I would share what I am currently loving before I switch up my makeup and routine for the fall time.
Urban Decay Naked 2 pallete, the formula for these eyeshadows is amazing and its totally worth the money. The colors that I have been using the most is YDK (3rd last color) in my crease, using Bootycall (3rd color in) on my lid with Foxy(1st color) as a highlight on my brow bone and my inner corner.
Victoria Secret fragrence mist in Summer Sun. The description of the scent is Caribbean Guava and Pineapple, the scent is a nice fruity, fresh and clean smell. I have been using this mist for months now, and it has become my signature summer scent this year.
These sneakers I have been wearing since I have made them, I have a blog post about making these. They are nice to add to a bit of color to an outfit, most days I have on jeans or jean shorts with a plan t-shirt so this adds a little something to my outfit.
With fall coming up, I will be switching up my products since it will start getting colder. Still trying to hold on to the last bit of summer.
Maybelline Age Rewind Brightener Concealer, this concealer has been my holy grail for quite some time. It does a great job at brightening under your eyes and doesn't crease.
Neutrogena Illuminating tinted Moisturizer in ivory to fair. I am very pail and I find that a lot of tinted moisturizers or bb creams that are light to medium are to dark for my skin tone, but this one matches perfectly. This is very light weight and just gives your skin a little extra coverage.
